Writers Week returns to in-person-only format
Join The University of California, Riverside鈥檚 Department of Creative Writing for the 48th UCR Writers Week Festival May 5-8. The free and open-to-the-public festival is the longest-running free literary festival in California. All events will be held in Interdisciplinary South (INTS) 1113.

UCR to host its first National Book Awards event
The National Book Foundation, or NBF, will bring the award-winning writer Claire Wahmanholm to campus on March 31 for a free event, 鈥淓co-Poetics and the Modern Apocalypse.鈥
The event is part of an NBF tour with 16 events across 10 cities, and marks the first time UCR has been selected to host a National Book Award, or NBA, event.
